A Beautiful Parenthesis

A Beautiful Parenthesis recounts the story of two lovers’ fleeting night of reckless passion in the world’s most romantic city, Paris. It begins with a happenstance glance over a glass of wine and ends in the early morning mist: two individuals whose lives remain fundamentally unchanged yet are transformed by this moment spent together. 

Loubna Freih is a human rights activist and documentary filmmaker. She lives both in South Africa and Switzerland with her husband and two sons. She is currently working on an autobiographical novel based upon her childhood’s early years in Baghdad, Iraq.
