Erotic Playwrighting? Yes!

We all want to be better lovers, and if a one-hour theatre production can make all the difference…well where do I sign up? Taking erotic writing to a different form, and proving that it’s completely possible to have erotic experiences whilst fully clothed and in the company of an entire audience full of people…oh yes please. 3fates theatre company, run by sexy women Erica Glyn-Jones and Haidee Crowe, is hitting the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown with “Yes!” – a show all about sex. How to do it, how to do it better, and what and who to do it with.

On stage, Haidee, accompanied by the very attractive package(s) of Matthew Kalil and Themba Stewart, learns the art of blowjobs and masturbation, gives a few tips on cunnilingus and domination, and explores with her male co-stars the curves of the Kamasutra couch…and each other.

The show, billed as an adult Breakfast Club, explores one night in the lives of Jessica, Alex and Zen. And judging by all the props in the rehearsal room, it’s going to be an interesting night indeed. The actors, in their fluffy gowns, exude charisma and charm. And their performances are certain not to disappoint. This play will touch a nerve with many – and make many nervous with its discussion of whether size really does matter.
