Hot Summer

It was one of those summers when everything was ripe, and that included Jeremy’s mysterious new girlfriend Rose. Would their relationship endure through their country summer of love, or is one of them about to give in to temptation elsewhere? Even though physically the luscious Rose gives him everything, Jeremy finds himself thinking more than he should about plump and pretty neighbour Caroline, and then there’s the nubile Wendy, just eighteen, the daughter of the local pub landlord, who is determined to experience everything life has to offer. Meanwhile, Caroline’s partner Chris is getting preoccupied with photography…

Michael Spring lives and works in London, where he is a director of a small corporate design agency. Over the last few years he has had a little more time in which to write, and was encouraged by having a couple of short stories broadcast on Radio Northern Ireland. Since then, he has had fiction published in magazines in the UK, the US and Canada. He’s married with two grown-up children.
